the little dandelion under the sun

my mom bought lots of clothes for me from taiwan. while she was shopping, the woman there convinced her she could wear some outfits as well, so she bought some for herself. she went to work wearing one of those long sweater with tights. only the tights were not regular tights. they were special, bunchy shiny tights. (i looked so good, she tells me). the next day the office got a memo: "We now have a dress code." and "No skin-tight pants" was listed multiple times. ("Were you so embarrassed?" I asked? "Of course not. I looked great. They were just jealous" mom replies.)
